aimeeAimee grew up in Pensacola, Florida and always had cats, dogs, and even rabbits at times.  Since moving away, she usually always had a cat and even experimented with saltwater fish.  She has lived in Southern Maryland since 2002 and currently has a cat - Velma, and a foster fail, yellow lab - Colonel.  Aimee works on base during the day and pet sits around the Wildewood area in the evenings and on weekends.  She volunteers and fosters for St. Mary’s Animal Welfare League (SMAWL) and you may see her around the community with Colonel who acts as an Ambassador for SMAWL and therapy dog at local nursing homes.  She has been a client of Trails End for over two years and is happy to now work for a wonderful company that cares for all animals as if they were their own!

lindaLinda has always loved pets!  She has two dogs, Rusty and Einstein, as well as two cats, Jasmine and Maverick. The kitties are always running around the house! She has been pet sitting for several years now and truly enjoys walking and visiting animals.

kellyKelly has had pets all her life, including dogs, cats, ferrets and hamsters.  She has volunteered at the Humane Society and Rocky's Ferret shelter.  For Kelly, taking care of pets has been a joy.  She loves seeing all of their unique personalities and spending time with them.  To her, pet sitting is not just providing food and water, it's making sure the pet is happy and comfortable.  Kelly primarily  pet sits in the Leonardtown area.

bethOriginally from Virginia, Beth moved to Leonardtown with her fiancée in 2014.  Animals have always been part of her life and she’s been fortunate to share many years with cats, dogs and various “little critters.”  Beth also spent three years caring for several beautiful horses!  She’s done rescue work and has experience as a veterinary assistant.  Currently, Beth is owned by a quirky yet adorable tortie cat, Erica Rose!  She also has two aquatic frogs.  As the mother of a grown son, she was thrilled to be promoted to “grandma” last year!  Beth believes her heart for animals was inherited from her grandmother and counts herself lucky to meet new furry friends through working for Trails End!

marcyMarcy grew up with a variety of pets throughout her life: dogs, cats, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats. Born and raised in West Virginia, she moved to Maryland/St. Mary's County in 1998 and has lived here ever since. She is married with two daughters, whom she adores. After working for two years, she became a stay-at-home mom and her love for animals led her to Trail’s End. It will be 10 years in October that she began pet sitting and dog walking! She loves having the responsibility of caring, nurturing, loving, and spoiling the furbabies as if they are her own. Currently, she has three dogs, two guinea pigs, a cat, and will be adopting a kitten soon.

karenKaren was born in the Boston area but has lived in several states throughout the east and west coasts.  She has been married for 34 years to her soulmate and has three grown children.  Karen has always had pets in her life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, turtles, and lizards. She left the IT corporate world and currently stays at home with her three dogs and enjoys crafting, stained glass, baking, reading, DIY projects, fishing, and generally being outdoors. She discovered Trails End as a result of looking for a pet sitter for her own dogs since she has never left any of her animals in a shelter.  She believes that her pets deserve to be in the comfort of their own home, attended by someone who will love and care for them as much as she does. With that being said, Karen asked to work for Trails End so that she could provide that same kind of care to pets whose owners would be away from home, giving those people a comforting feeling that their pets would be loved and well-provided for in their absence.

newHana is a college student attending school in Florida but living with her family in St. Mary's County. Her family has two awesome dogs, and she has been with Trails End since 2014. She loves all of the different animals she gets to take care of, and has a great time on all her visits!

katieKatie has been a dog lover since a very young age, ever since she got her first pet dog as a child in Scotland. She has two dogs now, as well as a loving husband and two kids. Katie has been working for Trails End since 2012 and has loved every minute of it!

pennyHi, my name is Penny born and raised in Southern Maryland on a tobacco farm filled with horses, cows, pigs, ducks, chickens and of course cats and dogs.  I volunteer at a no-kill rescue center called St Mary's Animal Welfare League, "SMAWL." I enjoy caring for and fostering cats at the Cat Castle Rescue Center in Callaway, MD. Although, I still can't figure out who rescues who.

I have three wonderful Tuxedo cats who individually picked to be in my family. They have trained us well. Their names are Mickey Mouse, Tai' Shawn, and Jesse'.
And now I'm excited in joining the Trails End Pet Sitting family.

jessica Jess was born and raised in Saint Mary's County. Her mom has told her that she has loved animals from the moment she entered this world. As she grew up, her passion for animals led her to taking in sickly kittens from family property. In April of 2016, she turned this passion into a rescue of her own after realizing how many cats and kittens needed help in the Southern Maryland area. She is now Co-Founder and President for Tiny Toes Kitten Rescue. Jess has a German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Beagle mix named Pork Chop and an orange tabby cat named Louie. She was eager to join the Trails End team after two years of being unemployed due to crippling anxiety. Jess believes that animals are her calling and they provide her with so much bliss.
